Chemicals used to make hair products are harsher on our hair than we are led to believe. What claims to calm your frizz, may be just the thing that's causing it! So what are we to do? First, reclaim your hair! Take a hot shower and thoroughly wash your hair, using only water.
After dowsing your hair, apply a natural conditioning substance or your favorite conditioner. The reason do not use shampoo is because it contains harsh detergent that takes healthy oils from your scalp, leaving your skin dry and exposed to chemicals
After rinsing out the conditioner, finish your shower by pouring cold water over your hair. The cool liquid acts to seal in the moisturizer and will result in tamer hair.
Now for the fun part, styling! Here's where you get to use as many, or as few products as you desire. My suggestion: try leaving out some products from your routine every day. With gentle wash, condition, and dry techniques, you should see improvement in your hair's health, and need a lot less products!
