I receive the fliers every weekend, and can't wait to get my scissors to start saving money.  You fellow coupon clippers know what I mean.  My family even clips coupons for me, knowing that I'll take any discount I can get my hands on!  It's not that I can't afford some of the items at full price, but why would I pay that when I don't need to; that's senseless.  I basically mix and match the coupons and trade with my family and friends for whatever we need the most of (pet food coupons for some, baby formula for others).   

When shopping for big items or making entertainment/event purchases, I always check craigslist and ebay to see if I can get get a deal before buying from a store/ticket vendor.  These are basic but effective ways that I save money.  And of course I always look for freebies and free samples on sites like this on.
